Golf Village in Pushkin City
Client: LLC "St.Petersburg Tsarskoselsky Golf Club".
Project goal: to develop new sports and leisure facilities in St. Petersburg’s high-end suburb Pushkin. The recreation area being created there will be made more attractive by new modern facilities having functional and esthetic appeal.
The area is located on Kiev Highway in the eastern part of Pushkin City and borders with agricultural territories on the north-west and a non-residential zone and a high-rise housing area on the south.
This 293-ha territory, 267 ha of which is occupied by the Babolovsky Park, has a high development potential due to its location within the boundaries of Pushkin City, to an extensive transportation and engineering network as well as to favourable environmental conditions.
The project is aimed at promoting new forms of sports and leisure activities in Saint Petersburg’s upmarket suburban location, as well as increasing the attractiveness of the recreation zone by accommodating modern facilities of supreme functional and aesthetic qualities.
By extending the recreation zone, an integrated architectural complex of the sports village type will be formed to fit in with the landscape seamlessly.
The project is a self-standing entity including apartment hotel blocks and the required infrastructure (shops, cultural facilities, car parks). Immediately adjacent to the complex is the golf club with world-class administrative buildings and recreation zones, and golf courses located within the boundaries of the Babolovsky Park. The construction of 3-4* hotels makes golf village services more accessible to customers from various income brackets.
The golf club will inevitably attract a flow of labour migrants, estimated at about 400 workers, 250 of whom will be employed by the golf club’s administrative facilities and another 150 by cultural and service facilities.
In addition, the club’s administrative complex can be used as a venue for conferences and symposia.
